Sharing your Giving Group

Once you’ve set up your Giving Group, you’ll want to share it with your friends, family, and supporters. Here are a couple ways to do so:

Invite people to join your Giving Group

You can invite people to be a member of your Giving Group.

  1. Click Invite Members at the top of your Giving Group.
  2. Enter the email addresses of people you’d like to have join the group.
  3. Include a message to be sent out with your invitation.
  4. Click the blue Send Invites button.

Note for Private Giving Groups:

Sending email invitations is the only option to share your Giving Group if you have selected a private group.

Note for Giving Groups Invitations:

Individuals who receive email invitations to join a private Giving Group will be required to create a CHIMP Account before donating to the group.

Share your Giving Group link 

Each public Giving Group comes with a URL link that you can share with your network. You can locate your group URL beginning with under Spread the Word on the right side of your Giving Group.


Anyone who clicks through to your Giving Group will be directed to the group’s about page to learn more. No account is required to give to your public group.

Sharing your public Giving Group on Facebook and Twitter is easy and a great way to raise awareness. Use the share icons under Spread the Word on the right side of your Giving Group.
